Beyond challenging and rigorous academics, beyond Jewish studies that speak to the spirit as well as the mind, choosing Rashi means choosing a school that seeks to nurture and challenge each child, spiritually, intellectually, physically and artistically.

What is a Rashi Education?

It is skills and values, depth and challenge, creativity and love of learning.  It is the incorporation of Jewish heritage and secular learning into everyday experience.

What do Rashi children learn?

They come to us for math, science, English and Hebrew. They are given even more. At Rashi the rigorous academics, Jewish education, and commitment to social justice are integrated, challenging and meaningful. They study music, theatre and dance. They learn respect for themselves and others, gender equality, connection to Israel, and their responsibility to help repair the world.

Our children learn the value of friendships, traditions, trust and integrity. In the classroom, in the lunchroom, on the soccer field and at Kabbalat Shabbat, our students learn core skills and values that will serve and guide them for the rest of their lives.

Choosing Rashi means choosing a school where children are growing, learning and becoming their very best selves.

"We are grateful to the Rashi School for providing our children with an extraordinary secular education enhanced by a strong sense of Jewish values. Rashi has fostered in our children critical thinking skills and pride in their Jewish heritage.

They will graduate prepared not just to thrive in the world but to work to make it an even better one for all of us."
