Alumni

People often ask me how I developed such a strong connection to Judaism, and I say that Rashi played a huge role. I can feel Rashi’s influence on me all the time, whether I am singing Jewish songs at Hillel or participating in tikkun olam by tutoring a first grader.

Rashi Graduates

Rashi is very proud of its alumni, young men and women who are critical and independent thinkers and proud of their Jewish heritage.

Rashi graduates continue their education at public and private high schools, including Gann Academy, the New Jewish High School of Greater Boston. Of the Rashi alumni currently in high school, 44% attend public high schools, 31% attend Gann Academy, and 25% attend independent schools.

Over the last five years, of the Rashi eighth graders who applied to private independent high schools, 95% were accepted by at least one school, and overall, 63% of their applications were accepted to schools typically admitting 15%.
