Athletics Schedule
ATHLETICS SCHEDULE
Rashi’s fitness and health curriculum is enhanced by interscholastic athletics.
Students in grades 5-8 have the opportunitiy to play on an interscholastic sports team, competing against other area independent schools. Every student who chooses to be on a team has an equal chance to participate in all team activities. Factors determining student playing time are not based solely on skill and knowledge but also on effort, commitment, respect and teamwork.
- Gr. 7-8: Sports practices/games are held on Mondays and Wednesday afternoons.
- Gr. 5-6: Sports practices/games are held on Tuesday afternoons. Games may also be played on Thursdays.
Fourth graders have the option of participating on an instructional team which practices during fitness and health class.
Students in grades K-3 may participate in sports activities - such as karate, fencing, soccer, and yoga - offered through Rashi’s Afterschool Electives.
