Critical Minds, Compassionate Hearts
Rashi offers an extensive interscholastic sports program for students beginning in the 5th grade, in which over half of our students participate. Our student athletes practice the skills and strategies of the season's sport and represent Rashi in a full schedule of extracurricular games vs. area independent schools.

Our Athletic program is modeled to be an extension of Rashi's core values and to take advantage of all the life lessons that come from being part of a team. Students learn from their successes and failures, analyze the importance of teamwork and self-sacrifice, experience the results of their hard work and perseverance, and develop a love for sports that will lead to a lifetime pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.

Athletes play interscholastically across three seasons and four sports. Opposing teams include: Belmont Day School, Boston Trinity Academy, Brimmer & May School, British International School of Boston, Carroll School, Dedham Country Day School, Epiphany School, Fay School, The Fessenden School, JCDS, Maimonides School, The Meadowbrook School, Solomon Schechter Day School, The Park School, Tenacre Country Day School, The Chestnut Hill School, and The Fenn School.

Rashi's athletes have continued their athletic pursuits at the high school level including Gann Academy, Milton Academy, Rivers, Needham High, Newton North and Brookline High.
Rashi athletics help kids develop great life skills and great values. Seeing students working to improve their athletic skills, competing and helping each other on the field, cheering for the team, all help kids discover who they are and strengthen their commitment to each other.
