Community

Parent Council

Yachad means “together.”
Through Yachad, Rashi’s Parent Council, we as parents come together to fulfill our mission to enhance the school curriculum and support our community of children, families, teachers, staff, and school.

Together, we organize and sponsor many events and services for the Rashi community, which we fund through our multiple fundraisers. Yachad relies entirely on parent volunteers for the success of the fundraisers and for the planning and execution of its programming and events. Whether you can make a large or small time commitment, we welcome your involvement. We look forward to working with you during the upcoming school year!

Our Fundraisers

Yachad runs many events throughout the year with the primary goal of building community among parents, families and faculty & staff at Rashi. We also support Rashi’s programming through our holiday and celebrations programming and support of classroom curriculum enrichment programming. This past year, we hosted over 20 events for children and families, provided curriculum enrichment in every grade, offered staff appreciation and support, and provided support to parents and families during times of need.
