Shared Holiday Celebrations

Both students and seniors at Rashi and NewBridge find holidays to be more meaningful because of their shared holiday celebrations.
Every year, new and meaningful programs are created to capitalize on this unique dynamic. In recent years, students and seniors have shared snacks and storybooks in the Sukkah, have together packed Chanukah care packages for children in need, and have told Pesach stories from different times and places. There are also opportunities when Rashi students bring joy to NewBridge residents such as during Purim, when our kindergarteners show off their costumes by parading through the residences or when NewBridge residents share their wisdom with Rashi students on Veteran's Day.
