Recent Alumni Visit Turns Mentor Meeting

Sterling, Class of 2011, had been missing The Rashi School so stopped by to visit with teachers and spend time reminiscing. While stopping in Joni Fishman's office, she ran into a student prepping for an upcoming High School interview and was thrilled to offer some advice.
While she was here, Sterling noticed a student who was prepping for an upcoming high school interview and jumped at the chance to lend a hand. She shared her own insights about interviewing techniques and answered interview questions along with the student. Happily, this exercise helped not only the 8th grader, but helped her to better understand her own desired path in the future.

Sterling shared her memories of "the old building" and her move to NYC. The move in her high school years allowed for further independene and love of the city.

A student now at Bowdoin College in Maine, Sterling is pursuing studies in psychology and visual arts.
