The Rashi School is a Kindergarten - Grade 8, all-gender independent school affiliated with the Reform Movement of Judaism. We are located on a 162-acre, multi-generational campus near the Charles River in Dedham, Massachusetts. We offer an academically challenging and enriching education to 250 students in an environment infused with Jewish values.
Rashi faculty are student-focused and mission-driven. There is a culture of collegiality, collaboration, and professional growth. Teachers enjoy and are encouraged to observe one another both informally and in structured Rounds observations. Faculty engage in meaningful professional development each year, work together on committees to develop curriculum, and look for opportunities to socialize outside of school.
At Rashi, children are understood and appreciated for who they are as they learn, grow, and develop their identities. They are intellectually curious, comfortable interacting with those of all ages, advocating for their needs, and possess a deep understanding of who they are as learners and as people.
Except where an exemption or exception applies to The Rashi School as a religious and educational institution, The Rashi School provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, military status, age, disability, genetics, or other legally protected status. The Rashi School recognizes the value of each individual and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in accordance with all applicable state and Federal laws and regulations.
