RASHI BY THE NUMBERS
Greater Boston’s Reform Jewish PK-8 Independent School

At The Rashi School, your child will find joy in learning, discovery, and play. They will build upon their academic skills and set the foundation for becoming curious, independent life-long learners. They will be encouraged to reach their individual potential in a warm and nurturing Jewish community.
Here, children are appreciated for who they are as they learn and develop their identities. With the school’s foundation of rigorous academics and differentiated instruction, and a mission rooted in social justice, intellectual inquiry is key to the Rashi student experience.
Rashi graduates possess deep self-awareness as learners and citizens; they have the confidence to try new things and the courage to be change agents. If these are qualities you are seeking for your child, we encourage you to learn more about The Rashi School.

Rashi nurtured both our kids’ curiosity and character in ways we hadn’t fully anticipated. The school’s emphasis on social justice and Jewish values helped shape them into compassionate, thoughtful individuals. The tight-knit community and engaging academics made it clear—Rashi was the right fit for our family. We wish we had realized this sooner! Rashi is, was, and always will be the greatest gift we could give our children.

After 20 years in New York City, I am excited to be back in my hometown of Brookline and joining The Rashi School. I have spent nearly the last decade in independent schools in Manhattan; my career has also spanned arts management, fashion, and non-profits. Being part of a school community brings me tremendous joy and fulfills my passion for helping families find the right educational fit for their children.

I joined the Admissions team at The Rashi School in September 2016. I have previously worked at Temple Reyim in their youth department and main office, and Gateways: Access to Jewish Education as an executive assistant. I am passionate about Jewish education, and love seeing all the joyful students in the hallways of Rashi.

Bio
This is my 13th year at Rashi, and my first in the Admissions office. I had the privilege of teaching Grade 4 for 11 years, where I cultivated relationships with countless students and families. My children are current students at Rashi, making this school truly my kehillah (community). I look forward to sharing my love for school with our prospective and current families.
