Our 162-acre campus, which we share with Hebrew SeniorLife’s NewBridge on the Charles Community, is a multi-generational village, providing the opportunity for natural interactions between seniors and kids. The Rashi School, built in 2010, is housed in a LEED-certified ‘green’ building, reflecting our commitment to the Jewish value of Shomrei Adamah (taking care of the earth). It is surrounded by two playgrounds, sports fields, the Charles River, and nature trails. Inside the sun-filled school, breakout rooms connecting each pair of classes in grades 1-5 support differentiated instruction, offering space for small group instruction to enrich and support students’ academic experience.

The school, which has interactive boards in every classroom, features a science lab, music and art studios, a regulation-sized gymnasium, and a 10,000-volume library with soaring ceilings and extensive electronic resources. And because we are a community that loves gathering in both large and small groups - to learn, to celebrate, to worship - there is a Sukkat Shalom (gathering place of peace) at the center of the school, spacious Chadar Ochel (dining room), state-of-the-art auditorium, beautiful Beit Midrash (sanctuary), Middle School learning commons, and two outdoor amphitheaters.
