WELCOME TO RASHI

Welcome to Rashi!

Rashi is a leading Pre-K-8 school that lives by the principles on which it was founded: excellent academics that integrate secular and Jewish studies, differentiated instruction that gives every student solid ground to stand on and a sky to reach as high as they can, a warm, welcoming community that represents the variety of the greater Boston Jewish community, and Social Justice as part of daily life. At Rashi, children are understood and appreciated for who they are as they learn, grow, and develop their identities.

Some families wonder: why invest in education at this age? Why not wait for high school or college? It’s simple. The years of academic and social-emotional development from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 set the trajectory for life. Students graduate Grade 8 at Rashi as avid learners who are engaged in their community and know how to advocate for themselves and others. Our graduates go on to succeed at the finest secondary schools, universities, and graduate programs and in life. Again and again we hear about our graduates — Rashi kids know who they are, know what they need to do, and they do it.

Rashi is a special place. We invite you to come for a tour and to meet the friendly students and dedicated, caring faculty that make us who we are. We look forward to meeting you and exploring why your family belongs here.

Warm regards,

Adam W. Fischer
