Class of 1999

Gavin Alexander received the Charles River School Distinguished Alumni Award. Read more. He was also mentioned in the PAIR Project newsletter for providing legal aid to help asylum-seekers in Massachusetts. Finally, Gavin has been included on the Massachusetts Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for 2018 and selected as one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s twenty-five “Up and Coming Lawyers” for 2019.

Katerina Pestova is engaged to be married to Daniel Weil.

Class of 2001

Ezra Geggel was mentioned in the PAIR Project newsletter for providing legal aid to help asylum-seekers in Massachusetts.

Larry Tobin will be running the Boston Marathon this April to raise money to support PAIR’s programs.

Zach Elkin reports he is still living in Evanston with his wife, Abby Mintz, daughters Maya (3 1/2) and Ayla (1 1/2), and dog Badger. Both girls attended the Moadon Kol Chadash, a Hebrew immersion school co-founded by Abby’s grandmother, Rabbi Yocheved Mintz. Zach is in his fourth year as an administrator at a private school for gifted students outside of Chicago and has spent the past year on the board of the Jewish Council for Youth Services. Abby is an Assistant Director at Beber Campand this will be his third summer in Wisconsin.

Class of 2006

Matthew Kalish is engaged to Lila Epstein.

Class of 2008

Adam Beckman, currently attending medical school, helped lead an article that was published in The American Journal of Managed Care about the use of Medicare Annual Wellness Visit associated with healthcare costs and quality. Read the article.

Dana Weintraub is engaged to be married to Michael Kollaard.

Class of 2011

Carly Eiduson organized an event, “An Evening with New York Times Journalist Nicholas Kristof” – Learn more.

Ari Glasgow made us all laugh with this Choose Your Own Adventure with Jewish Grandparents published on Medium.

Class of 2013

Chloe Savit tells us that she will be spending her summer as a member of the Musical Theatre Conservatory program at Barrington Stage Company in the Berkshires. She has also been cast as Penelope Pennywise in NYU’s production of Urinetown with the West 4th Stage Company.

Class of 2015

Jonah Tobin served as a mentor at Rashi’s Grade 5 science fair. You can read his reflection of the role here.
